“The Toledo-Lucas County Public Library is pleased to announce the GRAND OPENING of its renovated West Toledo Branch, located at 1320 Sylvania Ave. The location has been closed for about one year to expand the branch and add exciting new features. West Toledo officials are especially excited about the branch’s new digital features, including the system’s first-ever 3D Printer, a desktop version by MakerBot (www.makerbot.com ) which will allow Library-trained customers the opportunity to upload their own print designs from a computer or flash drive and make three-dimensional solid objects from a digital file. Also, the re-opened branch will feature a Creation Studio area with teens and young adults in mind, that will feature Apple’s GarageBand for Mac, (www.apple.com/mac/garageband/ ) to allow customers their own space to create music, record vocals and more.”
