Perrysburg Sports Complex

From the Toledo Blade:

The new locker room in the Huskisson Athletic Center was filled with excited students, community members, and Perrysburg School District employees, but nobody was as excited as head football coach Matt Kregel.

“People have been asking me ‘Are you ready? Are you ready?’” the coach said at the ribbon-cutting ceremony of the new athletic facility for Perrysburg High School. “I’ve been ready since last August. I don’t know if I’m going to be able to sleep tonight.”

Final interior punchlist items and we are just about finished the the Perrysburg Athletic Complex (now known at the Huskisson Athletic Center).  The epoxy floors are poured, the lockers are installed, and the weight room equipment has been delivered and set up.  There is some final paint touch ups and and drywall nicks that need repaired, but those should be completed shortly.

Please see below the pictures from the most recent walk through

ftr_athleticsThe Perrybsurg Athletic Complex project has moved ahead considerably in two weeks.  The roof trusses have been delivered and installed, and the masons are working hard to get the brickwork.  Inside, the metal studs are up and rooms are starting to take shape.  The electricians are running their rough-in wiring.  As soon as the building is enclosed, the interiors start.

ftr_athleticsThe walls are up on the Perrysburg Athletic Complex and second floor concrete has been poured.  Brickwork has been installed, and trusses are being delivered, installed and utilities are being roughed in.

Project is moving along nicely.

Once the siding has been installed and doors, frames, and hardware are ready – the building will be weathered in and the finishes can start.

ftr_athleticsTaking advantage of the nice weather towards the end of the winter season, we’ve been able to make great strides forward in the construction of the Sports Complex.  Rough grading is complete, footers poured, and we are moving forward with the concrete slab and elevator shafts.

With Spring right around the corner and the warmer weather that comes with it, visible progress should move quickly.
